W. Scott Parker, RLA, ASLA
PartnerScott co-founded DesignWorks in 1994. He earned a Masters of Landscape Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University after graduating with honors from the University of Georgia School of Environmental Design. Before opening his own firm in Cambridge, MA, Scott worked for many years with noted architect Benjamin Thompson, creator of Boston's Faneuil Hall, on urban design projects all over the world. Scott has received numerous professional awards, including a Boston Society of Architects Honor Award for his work on the Charleston Holocaust Memorial and an ASLA Southeastern Regional Merit Award for the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base Master Plan. He is a member of the Seaside Farms ARB, Sullivan's Island Town Planning Commission, and The Charleston Horticulture Society. |

John Tarkany, RLA, ASLA
PartnerJohn merged his firm into DesignWorks in 1995, bringing a combination of design and technical expertise to the firm. He earned a B.A. in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University, then moved to Charleston a few years later where he has practiced for over 21 years. Prior to joining DesignWorks, John worked for six years as a Project Manager for Edward Pinckney Associates. |

J. Stephen Dudash, RLA, ASLA
PartnerPrior to co-founding DesignWorks in 1994, Steve Dudash ran his successful firm, JSD Landscape Architects, for 5 years. He earned a Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from Louisiana State University and a B.S. in Horticulture from Clemson University. Steve's focus on technology keeps the firm ahead of the pack and earns recognition from national publications and local business organizations. He has received several professional awards, including: in 2003, an ASLA Merit Award for Beresford Hall; in 2002, an ASLA Honor Award for The Golf Club at Briar's Creek; and in 2001, an ASLA Honor Award for Daniel Island Public Realm. |

Christophe Drumain, DPLG
PartnerChristophe is an architect with over thirteen years experience in urban design, planning, and landscape architecture. He has contributed his skills to a wide range of projects ranging from community planning, urban design, residential, and design guidelines. Christophe has a B.A. and a Masters in Architecture from Ecole d' Architecture de Bordeaux, France. He also has a Post Graduate Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University and a Masters in Planning.
