Thailand-inspired Residence

The owner's of this unusual, Thailand-inspired home asked for privacy, uniqueness, and a strong entrance. At the beginning of the project, the entrance stairs were located ten feet in the air, facing away from the best parking area. A curved, rising entry path from the parking court now leads guests to the front door through an almost jungle-like experience. There is a strong sense of anticipation as one moves from public space, across a variety of paving materials, through a rich plant pallet, into a much more private entrance court.
